What do you want to accomplish before leaving UNM?
I want to look back after I get my degree and be happy knowing I experienced all that I wanted at UNM. I think UNM has so many opportunities that I haven’t even heard of yet. I am hoping that I can find those things, and experience it.

What does it mean to be a Lobo?
Being the best person you can possibly be. Achieving your goals, finding internal happiness, and spreading that positivity to our future Lobos!

What’s your best UNM experience so far?
The best experience to date has been handing out Valentines Day Cards to students with Lobo Louie. I got to help make the cards and handing them out was really wonderful. It was a really good day.

What surprised you the most about UNM?
How much there is to do on campus, even on the day-to-day basis! UNM reaches out to every type of person on campus and I think that’s great.

Ah, finals week. The last week of school… Or even technically, the last two weeks of school. It’s where studying, writing long papers overnight, and putting together either individual or group projects took over my life. I realized that this semester was the first time that I, no matter how much I tried, could not work […]

During Finals week, I got to deliver free coffee and cookies to struggling, studying students in need. As a part of UCAM, UNM Snapchat did a Snapchat Coffee Break, where students Snapchatted their locations and had free coffee and cookies delivered to them! For three hours on Saturday, May 6th and two hours on Monday, […]

So the other day, in order to avoid studying and other adult worries, my best friend and I grabbed our cameras and hit Central to take photos. I didn’t realize this, but Central has a ton of amazing art. Whether it be from giants murals on walls, to cool shops, to even random sculptures, downtown Albuquerque is […]

It happened yet again- my favorite time of every semester… CUDDLE A CANINE.   It’s where a group of volunteers bring their adorable furry volunteers to pet and love on while us students are struggling in essays, projects, and exams. This semester, the Cuddle A Canine crew came for two hours to make me forget […]

Fiestas 2017. Where do I begin? This was one of my favorite memories of my college experience. I was not only able to attend of one of UNM’s biggest events, but I got to be a working part to it as well! I was event staff, where I got to photograph the entire day. It […]
