What do you want to accomplish before leaving UNM?
I want to start my own club of some sort, study abroad, and become president of Model UN, rush for a sorority, and receive a piggyback ride from Lobo Louie.

What are your favorite events around Albuquerque?
I love Balloon Fiestas of course, but there is also the Greek Festival, Summer Fest, and lots of great bands that come play at our venues.

What surprised you the most about UNM?
That I liked it so much! Being born and raised in New Mexico all I ever wanted was to get away, so I never gave coming here much thought. But once I became apart of campus life I fell in love.

What groups are you active with?
I am active with the UNM Model UN as well as the tennis club. Outside of campus I volunteer at Lovelace Hospital.

Today has shocked me…. Today I am sad. I am sad today, and I am not talking about the results, although I do not agree. I am sad today, because I am sad for you, and I am sad for us, and I am sad for America. I am sad that the only opinions I see, are opinions […]

At The Fiesta (A Photo Collection)

Bright and early this morning, a few friends and I decided to brave the traffic (and the cold) to see one of the most beautiful traditions in New Mexico, Balloon Fiesta! The fiesta is one of my favorite things about living in Albuquerque. Not only does it create some great pictures by providing hundreds of […]

As the new semester is in full swing and classes are starting to get harder, and filling up my spare time with homework, I find myself missing my time abroad and struggling with adjusting to my life back at UNM. While I love this school and enjoy seeing my friends and all the activities going […]

Explore New Mexico: Tent Rocks

Earlier in the summer, I found out that I had to get my tonsils removed. (Yeah, huge bummer I know) So instead of putting my summer on hold, I decided to do my own mini bucket list of New Mexico explorations before my surgery, and not waste a minute of my summer time! I started […]

A Small Apartment, the Beach, and Out of My Comfort Zone

Today marks one week since I left Spain. After a whole lot of procrastination (and nostalgia) I finally found the words to describe what this past semester means to me…                           Where the adventure began. To give a little back story, […]
