Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, it's at the end of your arm, as you get older, remember you have another hand: The first is to help yourself, the second is to help others.

Favorite Class: Theater Arts, International Politics 240, Pilates, Psychology

Favorite Bands: The Clash, Chvrches, Ellie Golding, Florida Georgia Line, The Fray, Foster the People, Kid Cudi, Shwayze, Vampire Weekend, and Blink 182

What do you want to accomplish before leaving UNM?
I want to start my own club of some sort, study abroad, and become president of Model UN, rush for a sorority, and receive a piggyback ride from Lobo Louie.

What are your favorite events around Albuquerque?
I love Balloon Fiestas of course, but there is also the Greek Festival, Summer Fest, and lots of great bands that come play at our venues.

What surprised you the most about UNM?
That I liked it so much! Being born and raised in New Mexico all I ever wanted was to get away, so I never gave coming here much thought. But once I became apart of campus life I fell in love.

What groups are you active with?
I am active with the UNM Model UN as well as the tennis club. Outside of campus I volunteer at Lovelace Hospital.

A Spring Break of Adventures

Well guys my two-week long (yes two weeks, I can’t believe it either) spring break has come to an end. It was a whirl wind to say the least, with so many places to visit and an average of ten-mile walks each day, I can say I am ready to be back in my “normal” schedule. […]

How Tutoring English is Changing My World

Through my study abroad program here in Spain, there is an opportunity for all students to tutor a local child in English. As soon as I heard, I jumped on the opportunity because, well first off you get paid, it’s a great way to really be immersed in the culture, and I thought it would […]
