Well, Lobos, I don’t know about you, but winter break was everything I needed. After a long and draining dead week and finals week, I left Albuquerque for the month. I traveled home, went on road trips, and slept a whole lot. It was exactly what I needed to refresh.
But this post is not about my break—though I’m sure you would love to hear about it. This is a welcome back post so… WELCOME BACK LOBOS.
While some of you might be dreading logging back into Learn and checking your syllabi on a daily basis, this is actually very good news.
If you did well last semester, this semester is an opportunity to keep the good mojo rolling. If you didn’t do as well as you hoped last semester, this is your fresh start. If this is your first semester, it’s your turn to leave your Lobo paw print on campus.
My last semester went pretty well, so to keep the momentum, I’ve set a few goals. This semester, I’m trying to save money (even if that means I have to take less coffee breaks at Satellite), get a 4.0 GPA, and work on my time management.
I’ll keep you guys posted on how that goes, and happy welcome back week Lobos!
