Returning home is much greater than I ever imagined. There were days in Australia where I thought I would never be able to leave, but then the nostalgia for home settled in. I grew to love so many things about my life here and appreciate them more. I missed the colorful sunsets, the Sandia Mountains, and most of all my family. There were many things I had to relearn after coming home. The first was that people walk and drive on the right side of the road again! I will always cherish the memories, mistakes, memories, and lessons that I received during my study abroad experience. Coming home is the same thing as building a life for yourself all over again. I look forward to the New Year and all of the adventures that comes with it. The greatest thing I learned to appreciate while abroad is the blessing of a loving and supportive family. They are what made the transition form abroad to home easiest.
