What do you know now that you wish you knew when entering UNM?
I wish I knew that living on campus is way nicer and more convenient than you may think it is, especially when Lapo is 24/7 and they will make you burritos at night!

What are your favorite events around Albuquerque?
Balloon Fiesta, $5 movies on Tuesdays, and catching nice deals at TJ Maxx.

What are you looking forward to most during your time abroad?
I am looking forward to experiencing the culture of Europe, getting to travel, learning from a different perspective, and the reasonable drinking age.

What advice would you give to an incoming UNM student?
Make sure you get out of the dorm room and smell the roses every once in a while, college isn’t just the classes you take but the extracurriculars and other things that you do. Have some fun. (Also study because the tests are sometimes hard.)

France & Friends

Well, I’ve been meaning to get back to France for a while now. And now, I’ve done it. I still haven’t gone to the most mainstream of places: Paris, but it doesn’t bother me too much, as it seems like everyone ends up passing through there at some time or another. I was bummed that […]

Climate Change in Spain?

I could actually have written this blog a month ago and it would still have been correct. Since mid-February, the sun […]

New Semester at Carlos III

I don’t remember if I talked about how planning for, registering for, or actually going to classes is at la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (uc3m), but if I did, I want to say some things again and give another overview of some things to expect coming to this particular university, and maybe other people […]

Lisbon / Lisboa
